Flowers Foods: Q1 Earnings Snapshot

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (AP) — THOMASVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Flowers Foods Inc. (FLO) on Thursday reported net income of $42.1 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Thomasville, Georgia-based company said it had net income of 20 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and restructuring costs, were 29 cents per share.

The bakery goods company posted revenue of $1.57 billion in the period.

Flowers Foods expects full-year earnings in the range of 80 cents to 90 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $5.16 billion to $5.27 billion.
