MONDAY:
Partly to mostly sunny
Highs: 78-84
Winds: East 5-15 mph
Today will be the “coolest” day of the week with highs on either side of 80 degrees. Plan for sunshine, low humidity, and a refreshing easterly breeze that will make for very pleasant conditions outdoors.

MONDAY NIGHT:
Increasing clouds
Lows: 55-60
Winds: Southeast 5 mph
Dry and cool weather is expected tonight, as low temperatures fall into the 50s. Clouds will increase, but no precipitation is expected. Enjoy the comfortable temperatures, as each night will get progressively milder for the rest of the week.

TUESDAY:
Partly to mostly cloudy
Highs: 80-85
Winds: Southeast 5-10 mph
Another nice day is ahead for early June with comfortable humidity and afternoon highs, just a few degrees warmer than Monday, topping out in the lower to middle 80s. There will be some added cloud cover, especially during the afternoon hours, but no wet weather is expected. Enjoy the low humidity with tropical humidity increasing Wednesday.

WEDNESDAY:
Partly to mostly cloudy, chance of showers, storms
Highs: 85-90
Winds: South 5-10 mph
Humidity increases midweek, so the stickiness factor will be back with added clouds, rain and storm chances. It will be a hot afternoon with highs in the upper 80s. It will feel over 90 degrees during the afternoon with the humidity. There is a chance for showers at any point throughout the day with scattered thunderstorm chances during the afternoon and early evening hours.

THURSDAY:
Chance for showers, hot
Highs: 93-97
Winds: Southwest 5-10 mph
Unseasonably hot with near record-setting temperatures and a chance for afternoon showers and storms. The record high at DCA is 101 degrees, set in 1911.
