How to Use Your Underdog NBA Promo Tonight

If you are looking to put your Underdog promo to use on tonight’s slate, targeting player point totals is a great place to start. Based on the player prop lines, here are the five players with the highest points projections for the Lakers-Rockets and Spurs-Clippers games tonight:

  • Luka Dončić (Los Angeles Lakers) @ Houston Rockets
    • Line: 30.5 Points
  • Kevin Durant (Houston Rockets) vs. Los Angeles Lakers
    • Line: 26.5 Points
  • Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs) @ LA Clippers
    • Line: 26.5 Points
  • Bennedict Mathurin (LA Clippers) vs. San Antonio Spurs
    • Line: 21.5 Points
  • Austin Reaves (Los Angeles Lakers) @ Houston Rockets
    • Line: 20.5 Points

Luka Dončić headlines the slate with a massive 30.5-point line. He draws a tough matchup against a physical Houston Rockets defense that allows just 109.9 points per game. However, we put a lot of stock in recent form, and Dončić has been completely unstoppable lately. Coming off a game-winner and a triple-double against Denver, he is averaging 38.2 points over his last five outings for a Lakers squad riding a five-game win streak. Alongside Austin Reaves—who just cemented himself as a clutch favorite after an incredible intentional free-throw miss and game-tying floater—the Lakers are rolling.

On the other side of the court, Kevin Durant’s line sits at 26.5 points. Durant is averaging exactly 26.0 points on the season and gets a more forgiving matchup against a Los Angeles Lakers defense that surrenders 115.3 points per contest. It does stand to reason that Durant will need a big night if Houston wants to assert their dominance in this critical Western Conference seeding battle.

Looking elsewhere for longshot potential and value, Victor Wembanyama also shares a 26.5-point total as his Spurs visit the LA Clippers. The Clippers’ defense allows 112.6 points per game, but slowing down Wembanyama will be a tall task. The phenom has been incredibly efficient, averaging 31.8 points on 56.4% shooting from the floor over his last five games, proving he’s virtually matchup-proof. Meanwhile, his opponent, Bennedict Mathurin, carries a 21.5-point total into the same game after posting an impressive 24.2 PPG over his own five-game stretch.

How to Redeem the Underdog Promo Code WTOP

Ready to build your entries for tonight’s Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets matchup? Claiming your welcome bonus is a breeze. To get started, please note that promo code WTOP is required during sign-up.

Follow these simple steps to unlock your bonus ahead of tip-off:

  1. Register Your Account: Create and register a new Underdog account by providing standard personal information. Please remember that you must be a new user and meet all local age and region requirements to participate.
  2. Make a Deposit: Fund your new account by depositing at least $5 using one of Underdog’s secure payment methods.
  3. Submit Your Entry: Play a $5 entry on tonight’s Lakers-Rockets game—or any other sporting event—to immediately activate your $50 in bonus entries.

Once your account is loaded with bonus entries, it is time to finalize your picks. Underdog offers two distinct ways to build your card:

  • Standard Entry: A standard entry requires 2+ picks and offers the largest potential payout. However, keep in mind that all legs must hit for your entry to be declared a winner.
  • Flex Entry: If you prefer a bit of a safety net in your strategy, you can opt to flex an entry with 3+ picks. With a flexed entry, you can still receive some winnings even if one leg is incorrect, which is a fantastic way to protect your longshot plays.

Choose the entry style that best fits your analytical approach and enjoy the game!

NYPD says dozens rescued from human trafficking during World Cup

▶ Watch Video: Inside look at security preparations for World Cup Forty-three people, including seven minors, were rescued from human traffickers during the World Cup matches in the New York City area, according to the New York City Police Department's Special Victims Unit. The rescue operations were carried out between June 11 and July 19 by specialized NYPD detectives who arrested 89 individuals."The surprise was really the outpouring of support behind the mission and the collaboration with all our partners," said Inspector Gary Marcus, commanding officer of the Special Victims Unit. Those rescued, largely the victims of sex trafficking, are now being supported with an array of social services for the victims, including food, housing and counseling. The 87 operations carried out during the World Cup have generated new leads, officials said, and law enforcement agencies are building more cases based on the investigations already underway."We have ongoing investigations now as a result of these operations," an NYPD official told CBS News.Major sporting events are known to law enforcement as hotbeds of human trafficking.Years in advance, the NYPD devoted significant resources to preparing for the World Cup. Eight matches were played at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium, including the final on Sunday."When we talk about the outreach and the prep we do, a large part of that involved visiting the known sex offenders, particularly the known human traffickers, in our registry," Marcus said. "Whether they're on parole or probation for human trafficking, we visited them to make sure they're compliant with the terms of their release, and secondly, to let them know that the NYPD is watching."The matches were held in multiple cities around the U.S., Mexico and Canada. Preparations to secure those games and prepare for crimes like human trafficking were coordinated between local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.Police departments in many locations that hosted World Cup matches have made arrests and rescues connected to human trafficking, including in Georgia, New England and Missouri. Nationally, there were more than 673 arrests on human-trafficking charges made during the World Cup, and 61 adults and 13 minors rescued, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
