WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WXII) — School officials are investigating after a student allegedly slapped a teacher at Mount Tabor High School, according to Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
District officials told WXII on Monday that they were aware of the incident and that all necessary and appropriate actions would be taken.
Additional details were not immediately available.
WXII contacted the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, which said it is not investigating the incident.
