WTOP is expected to have a new and updated website that could make you look at stories clearly and effectively.

It will take place in July as managers believe that it’s the next step in the station’s innovative process for the 21st century.

Going from WordPress to Gutenberg should change life for the better for the writers and reporters using the platform.

With all the Election Day madness, something funny happened in the WTOP newsroom

Tuesday is Election Day with races all over the country, from the U.S. president to your local county council to the mayor of your city. It's also a day when poll workers take the time out of their daily schedules to count all the ballots fairly and accurately. With all the Election Day chaos going on, something interesting happened inside the WTOP newsroom. No it wasn't a reporter dropping a cup of coffee or an on-air anchor misreading a name. It was WTOP digital writer/editor Tadi Abedje accidently calling his fellow colleague Will Vitka "Will Smith." Vitka then bursted out laughing for about 10 minutes, which led to the other writers laughing.
