Grains mostly higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) _ Grain futures were mostly higher in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Sept. corn was up 0.75 cent at $5.16 a bushel. Sept. wheat fell by 8.5 cents at $7.28 a bushel. Sept. oats rose by 13.5 cents at $3.56 a bushel. Sept. soybeans rose by 1.75 cents at $13.08 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct. live cattle gained 0.25 cent at $2.15 a pound. Sept. feeder cattle gained 0.08 cent at $3.26 a pound. Oct. hogs fell by 0.45 cent at $.83 a pound.
