Maryland State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash early Wednesday morning in Anne Arundel County. Troopers arrived at the area of southbound Route 97 at Maryland Route 648 at around 1:55 a.m., after receiving a report of a struck pedestrian.
Delroy Roderick Ben, 54, of Glen Burnie was hit by a 2010 to 2018 black Audi A8 or S8, according to the preliminary investigation. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver fled the scene. The car may have damage to the right front-bumper and is missing its passenger side mirror. The road was closed for almost three hours after the crash, reopening at 4:45 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to call the Maryland State Police Glen Burnie Barrack at 410-761-5130.
