A Maryland man has been charged in the deaths of two other men in a Rockville car crash earlier this year.

Montgomery County police said Monday that the driver, Daniel Danny Aguilar Medrano, 24, of Rockville, was charged with two counts of negligent manslaughter by vehicle stemming from a deadly car crash that happened March 22.
According to police, Medrano was driving a gray 2025 BMW M8 on the eastbound lanes of Norbeck Road, where he was going between 119 and 126 mph before he lost control of his car near East Gude Drive.
The posted speed limit was 40 mph, police said.
The car went across the center median, hitting a curb and a pedestrian signal before overturning and continuing through the Norbeck Road and East Gude Drive intersection, hitting another curb, pedestrian signal and several trees. It then came to rest in a drainage trench along Norbeck Road.
The front seat passenger of the car, Abraham Huracaya Del Aguila, 24, of Silver Spring, Maryland, and the rear-seat passenger, Alexander Medrano Cangalaya, 24, of Rockville, died at the scene. Aguilar Medrano was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Medrano’s blood alcohol concentration was 0.09, about one hour after the crash, police said.
An arrest warrant was issued Aug. 6, and Medrano turned himself in Friday.
He was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
