Gear up! Where to find Nationals World Series Championship merchandise

OK, party people! The Nats have claimed their first ever World Series Championship. It’s time to gear up with caps, shirts, hoodies and more. Select Dick’s Sporting Goods stores in the area reopened immediately after the big win to sell World Series Championship gear. But there’s still a chance early Thursday morning to grab some. On Thursday, Oct. 31, the following Dick’s locations will open early at 7 a.m.:

Select Modell’s locations were open after the conclusion of last night’s game, but there are still plenty of chances to shop in-store and online.  Modell’s in Bethesda is open and full of Nats gear, reports WTOP’s John Aaron.

Daylen Lile continues hot streak with 2 homers as Nationals beat Marlins 6-3

WASHINGTON (AP) — Daylen Lile homered twice and drove in four runs, Erik Tolman pitched out of a bases-loaded jam to earn his first major league save, and the Washington Nationals beat the Miami Marlins 6-3 on Monday night. The Marlins dropped three of four to the Nationals and fell four games behind Arizona in the race for the final NL wild-card spot. Lile, named the NL player of the week earlier Monday, finished 3 for 3. The second-year outfielder has five homers over his past eight games to reach 20 for the season. Brady House was 2 for 4 with an RBI for the Nationals. Andrew Pinckney and Keibert Ruiz also had two hits apiece.
