A 27-year-old man is dead and a family member is charged with murder after a stabbing Sunday morning in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Prince William County Police said officers were called to a home in the 4600 block of Whitaker Place around 6 a.m. for a reported domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, they found Maliek Raykwon Harrington inside the home with multiple stab wounds to his upper body. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators said Harrington had gotten into an altercation with a family member that had escalated.
During the confrontation, police said, the family member pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.
Police arrested Ryheim Darnel Harrington, 25, of Woodbridge, at the home without incident. He is charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bond.
