Grains mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) _ Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Sept. corn was down 2.75 cents at $5.15 a bushel. Sept. wheat fell by 0.75 cent at $7.29 a bushel. Sept. oats was off 8.5 cents at $3.48 a bushel. Sept. soybeans gained 4.75 cents at $13.00 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct. live cattle gained 3.7 cents at $2.14 a pound. Sept. feeder cattle gained 5.68 cents at $3.26 a pound. Oct. hogs was off 0.07 cent at $.83 a pound.
