Grains mostly higher, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) _ Grain futures were mostly higher in early trading Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Sept. corn was up 0.25 cent at $5.22 a bushel. Sept. wheat gained 11.25 cents at $7.75 a bushel. Sept. oats gained 1.25 cents at $3.56 a bushel. Sept. soybeans was down 6 cents at $13.01 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct. live cattle gained 0.85 cent at $2.13 a pound. Sept. feeder cattle was up 1.25 cents at $3.22 a pound. Oct. hogs was up 0.45 cent at $.84 a pound.

Pabst Blue Ribbon offers $20,000 reward to help find its missing beer

Pabst Blue Ribbon wants its beer back, and it's offering a reward to help that happen. Greig DeBow, the CEO of Pabst Brewing Co., said Wednesday that the company will pay up to $20,000 to anyone who provides new information that leads to the recovery of 1,602 cases of Pabst Blue Ribbon and non-alcoholic Old Milwaukee beer. The beer went missing Aug. 17 in Southern California. “I'm sure they look cool with a garage full of PBR,” DeBow said in a post on TikTok. “That's actually not cool though. We want it back." Police in Montclair, California, said the beer was stolen from a warehouse in two separate incidents on the same day.
