DocuSign: Fiscal Q2 Earnings Snapshot

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — DocuSign Inc. (DOCU) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $77.7 million.

The San Francisco-based company said it had profit of 40 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.16 per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.08 per share.

The provider of electronic signature technology posted revenue of $875.7 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $867.6 million.

For the current quarter ending in October, DocuSign said it expects revenue in the range of $886 million to $890 million.

The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $3.5 billion to $3.51 billion.
