REHOVOT, Israel (AP) — REHOVOT, Israel (AP) — Nova Ltd. (NVMI) on Thursday reported profit of $69.3 million in its first quarter.

The Rehovot, Israel-based company said it had profit of $2.04 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $2.33 per share.

The maker of monitoring systems used in chip manufacturing posted revenue of $235.3 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in June, Nova Ltd. expects its per-share earnings to range from $2.34 to $2.48.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $245 million to $255 million for the fiscal second quarter.

(AP) — Bryce Underwood converted with a second chance on a Hail Mary, connecting with JJ Buchanan for a 47-yard touchdown pass that lifted No. 16 Michigan over Western Michigan 13-12 on Saturday night. The Broncos were 27 1/2-point underdogs but thought they'd spoiled Kyle Whittingham's debut when Underwood's first Hail Mary sailed out of bounds with the clock expired. Officials called for a review. TV replays showed the clock hitting zero before the ball hit the hands of a Western Michigan defender, but officials ruled there was a second left. Underwood heaved another throw, and Buchanan leaped to snag it and came down with it in the end zone.
