KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Evergy, Inc. (EVRG) on Thursday reported earnings of $151.5 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Kansas City, Missouri-based company said it had profit of 64 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 69 cents per share.

The electric utility posted revenue of $1.44 billion in the period.
