WESTMOUNT, Quebec (AP) — WESTMOUNT, Quebec (AP) — Dorel Industries Inc. (DIIBF) on Thursday reported a loss of $24.9 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Westmount, Quebec-based company said it had a loss of 72 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 65 cents per share.

The maker of bicycles, child safety products and home furnishings posted revenue of $267.8 million in the period.
