DALTON, Ga. (AP) — DALTON, Ga. (AP) — The Dixie Group Inc. (DXYN) on Monday reported earnings of $1.2 million in its first quarter.

The Dalton, Georgia-based company said it had profit of 8 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted to account for discontinued operations, were 9 cents per share.

The floor covering company posted revenue of $59.4 million in the period.
