Amentum: Fiscal Q2 Earnings Snapshot

CHANTILLY, Va. (AP) — CHANTILLY, Va. (AP) — Amentum Holdings Inc. (AMTM) on Monday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $54 million.

On a per-share basis, the Chantilly, Virginia-based company said it had net income of 22 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 60 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 58 cents per share.

The government services company posted revenue of $3.48 billion in the period, which met Street forecasts.

Amentum expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.25 to $2.45 per share, with revenue in the range of $13.95 billion to $14.3 billion.

Amentum shares have decreased 17% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $23.94, an increase of 13% in the last 12 months.
