MARTINSVILLE, Va. (AP) — MARTINSVILLE, Va. (AP) — Hooker Furniture Corp. (HOFT) on Thursday reported a loss of $21.2 million in its fiscal third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Martinsville, Virginia-based company said it had a loss of $1.99. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs and to account for discontinued operations, came to 39 cents per share.

The home furnishings company posted revenue of $70.7 million in the period.
