MAKATI, Philippines (AP) — MAKATI, Philippines (AP) — Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PHI) on Friday reported profit of $150.5 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Makati, Philippines-based company said it had profit of 70 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 71 cents per share.

The telecommunications company posted revenue of $958.8 million in the period.
