NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) — NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (CLNE) on Thursday reported a loss of $12.4 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Newport Beach, California-based company said it had a loss of 6 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, were 1 cent per share.

The provider of natural gas as an alternative fuel for vehicle fleets posted revenue of $117.6 million in the period.
